A record built on real experience.

Kelley Crisp brings one of the strongest felony prosecution records in Bowie County. She has taken more than 135 jury trials to verdict, the majority involving violent offenses such as capital murder, aggravated sexual assault, child sexual abuse, organized criminal activity, and human trafficking. Her work has shaped some of the most important public safety outcomes in the county over the past decade.

Her reputation is rooted in strong casework and a hands-on approach. Kelley is known for going to crime scenes, police departments, and investigative briefings to review evidence, guide officers, and ensure the case is built correctly from the outset. She has spent nights at police departments during major investigations so she could track evidence and information in real time. That level of involvement results in cleaner cases and stronger outcomes for juries.

One of Kelley’s most widely recognized cases is State of Texas v. Taylor Parker. After years of intensive work by investigators and prosecutors, a Bowie County jury convicted Parker of capital murder for the fetal abduction and double homicide. Kelley and her team were honored by the Texas Department of Public Safety for their exemplary work in the investigation and prosecution of the case.

Kelley has the full public endorsement of the Texarkana Police Officers Association and the Texarkana Municipal Police Association, along with overwhelming support from local officers who work with her every day. They trust her because she prepares thoroughly, communicates clearly, and shows up early in the investigative process to make sure nothing is overlooked.

Kelley’s work is centered around the people harmed by violent crime. She guides victims and families through some of the most traumatic moments of their lives, making sure they are supported, informed, and treated with dignity. She believes justice requires both strong prosecution and compassionate communication.
